The photos page has undergone a bit of a layout change. You’ll now see a list of albums with various photo galleries inside it. Click on a gallery to view all the photos for that gallery. Simple, eh? This change now allows us to post more pics and maintain a better level of organization. Day 2 Update

First of all, thank you all very much for the tweets, emails, Facebook messages, and blog comments sent in over the last couple of days. They all mean so much to us during this hectic period of transition. They’ve brightened Esther’s day while she struggles a bit to recover from her c-section. Having 17+ lbs. of baby removed from your body after 37 weeks and 2 days of gestation obviously takes its toll. Emilia, William, and Jackson are doing great. The doctors and nurses say they look perfect and have passed all their tests. They also keep telling us the…

Organic Garden

Our backyard may not be that big, but I wanted to do something with the extra space on one of the sides of the house we weren’t going to utilize. I decided to start from pre-sprouted plants this year, and not from seed, since it’s getting close to the end of spring. Maybe next year… Here’s what we planted: Sweet Basil (x2),…

Our First House

With the triplets about to make their appearance in a week or two, we felt we needed to upgrade our living space. We totally underestimated the amount of stuff we would collect. Three cribs, dressers, tons of baby clothes, diapers, toys, etc. We’ll also have quite a few visitors over the next few months staying with us to help with the babies when they first come home. So, we moved from our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment to our new 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom house! It’s way bigger (1640 sq. ft.) and the yard and 2 car garage…

Early Mother’s Day Gifts

Last weekend while I was doing a little online shopping I remembered Mother’s Day was coming up. I started thinking about something nice/cute I could get Esther for her first Mother’s Day. Then, for whatever reason, the image of three peas in a pod popped into my head. I did a quick Google search and found some unique items on Etsy that I thought would make nice gifts. For those who aren’t familiar, Etsy is an online market full of stores run by crafty people just like you and me who sell their hand-made creations online. You can find everything…
