New Photos Added – 5 Months Old

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures / View Comments: 0

I finally found the time to dig through the last month of photos. We picked our favorites and posted them to a new gallery entitled 5 Months Old. We also updated our family gallery as well…

Most of these photos were taken by Esther’s Aunt Paula and Uncle Chris.

As you can see everyone is doing great and growing fast! As always, thank you all very much for taking the time to send in your positive comments, advice, notes/emails, etc. We really appreciate all the comments and emails!

Our First Trip to Target – 14 weeks

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures / View Comments: 7

Today we headed out to our local Super Target. Esther thinks it’s very important that we live our lives as closely as we would if we did not have the triplets. She thinks it’s a bad idea to stay locked up in the house with them just because we have three, and not one. We’ve taken the babies to Babies ‘R’ Us and many walks, but never to a place to do some actual shopping, and never without other adults to help. I was a bit nervous about the whole thing simply because I didn’t know what to expect from other shoppers, or how the babies would behave. But, as always, Esther was calm and cool thankfully (love her for that) and reassured me that all would go well.

Ready to Go Shopping

I’m happy to report the triplets did wonderfully. They were either happily people watching, checking out all the stuff in the isles, or napping. There was little to no fussing in the car or in [Continue Reading…]

Photos Page Updated

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures / View Comments: 4

The photos page has undergone a bit of a layout change. You’ll now see a list of albums with various photo galleries inside it. Click on a gallery to view all the photos for that gallery. Simple, eh? This change now allows us to post more pics and maintain a better level of organization.

We also posted some new photos from the last couple of months to celebrate the grand re-opening of the photos page. As you can see, everyone is doing well and the triplets are healthy and growing fast!

We’ll continue to post new photos when we get time so check back often.

The Birth Story

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures, Video / View Comments: 24

It’s taken me several days to write this. We keep remarking on how “easy” it would be if we only had one baby! Between me, my mom and Jason, the three of us have never been more sleep-deprived in our lives. We find ourselves taking care of each other; Jason and I insist my mom eats and then sleeps after staying up all night and most of the day; mom and Jason push me to drink water and go back to bed when I get up in the middle of the night to pump and feed; I purposefully leave Jason sleeping in the morning so he gets more than a couple hours a night. Round and round we go.

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures / View Comments: 10

The triplets are here! They were born via c-section on June 10th, 2011 at approximately 12PM Pacific. Everyone is doing just fine. Well, Esther is in quite a lot of pain, but the nurses and doctors assure us she’s doing great. She/they made it to 37 weeks and 2 days gestation which is amazing!

William Jeffrey (Identical Baby A): 5 lbs. 8 oz.
Jackson Martin (Identical Baby B): 5 lbs. 10 oz.
Emilia Olive (Fraternal Baby C) : 5 lbs. 10 oz.

We’ve posted a few pictures from the day in our photo gallery. You can check them out by clicking here.

Finally, once Esther is up and feeling better, she said she will post the birth story. So, stay tuned!

Organic Garden

Written By: / Category: News, Pictures / View Comments: 0

Our backyard may not be that big, but I wanted to do something with the extra space on one of the sides of the house we weren’t going to utilize. The yard is “U” shaped and one of the sides receives a decent amount of light throughout the day. So, I decided to add two 4′x4′ raised cedar garden beds to grow some free-ish organic herbs and vegetables. I decided to start from pre-sprouted plants this year, and not from seed, since it’s getting close to the end of spring. Maybe next year…
